Problems needing attention in the use of mixed pesticides in factory seedling cultivation

In the factory seedling breeding, the mixed use of pesticides is often used by technicians. Mixing of pesticides is to use two or more than two pesticides in the same sprayer at the same time. Reasonable mixture of pesticides can expand the scope of application or treat several pests simultaneously, which can improve the work efficiency; but the unreasonable mixture of pesticides will reduce the efficacy or produce pesticide damage. Therefore, we must pay attention to the following aspects when using pesticide mixture.  

(1)The chemical stability of the active components was not affected by the mixture of pesticides

The chemical properties and structures of pesticide active ingredients are the basis of their biological activities. In general, chemical changes should not be allowed to occur in the effective components when mixed, so as to avoid affecting the decomposition and failure of the effective components. Organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides are sensitive to alkalinity. Pyrethroids and dithiocarbamate fungicides also decompose under strong alkaline conditions. Pay attention to the instructions for the use of pesticides. For example, the first pesticide description stipulates that alkaline pesticides cannot be mixed, then other mixed pesticides cannot be prepared if they are alkaline pesticides. In the same way, if the description of the first pesticide stipulates that acid pesticides cannot be mixed, then other pesticides participating in the mixture cannot be prepared if they are acid pesticides.

The principle of mixing pesticide should be followed

1. No more than 4 kinds of pesticides should be mixed


Generally, 2 ~ 3 kinds of pesticides are suitable for mixed use, and 4 kinds can be used if necessary. If there are more than 4 kinds of pesticides, adverse consequences will be easily caused.


2. The dosage of CO prevention drugs should be reduced


Due to the same goal of common prevention, it is necessary to cooperate with each other in drug strength, and the method of preparation is usually based on the rule of equal division and additive action. That is to say, when they are mixed, they should keep half of the original dosage respectively; when they are mixed with three drugs, the same should be done.


3. Different dosage forms are mixed in order


The mixture of pesticides should follow the sequence of micro fertilizer, wettable powder, colloidal suspension, water agent and emulsifiable concentrate, and stir continuously. After one agent is fully dissolved, the next is added. The two kinds of wettable powder should be mixed evenly, and then diluted with water.


4. Single treatment pesticides are mixed according to "each quantity"


At the same time, the "various quantities" of different targets are also frequently used in pesticide mixing. According to the mixed growth of diseases, insect pests and weeds in the same period, the target of concurrent treatment was confirmed, and the mixed drug control was selected. Due to the respective objectives of each control, it is necessary to maintain their respective effective control dosage (i.e. "each amount").


5. Mixed drug use


Mixed pesticides should be prepared and used as soon as possible, and should not be stored. The longer the storage time, on the one hand, the efficacy is easy to reduce, on the other hand, it will produce adverse reactions.


6. Add water first and then add medicine


For the two dilution mix, add half a bucket of water into the sprayer and mix with the first pesticide. Then, pour another pesticide into a plastic bottle and dilute it with water. After dilution, pour it into the sprayer and stir it evenly and so on.

Several situations that cannot be mixed
In general, fungicides of the same type can not be mixed, for example, oxaprop · mancozeb (chlorantrum) and metalaxyl · mancozeb (Jinlei), metalaxyl · mancozeb and Jinlei, azoxystrobin (amicida) and kresoxim (cuibei), pyraclostrobin (kairun), pyraclostrobin · dysendazim (butai), flupiride · famcarb (yinfali) and propamocarb (Puli) Among them, Difenoconazole and myclobutanil, tetrafluoromethoxazole, ethazol, Dimethomorph · mancozeb, Dimethomorph and flumorph, iprodione and ethinyl dinitrate, Pythium, carbendazim and thiophanate methyl (methyltobuzin). The mixture containing mancozeb can no longer be mixed with mancozeb (Dasheng), and the copper agent can not be mixed with alkaline pesticides, and it has antagonistic effect when mixed with thiram fungicides and mancozeb fungicides.

Several kinds of bucket mixer combinations are recommended


1. When cucumber downy mildew, powdery mildew and gray mold occurred seriously, 68.75% flupiride · downy mildew (yinfali) SC + 10% Difenoconazole (Shigao) WG + 50% pyrrolidine (Huiyou) wettable powder or 50% nicotinamide (acetanilide) (kaize) water dispersible granule;


2. When tomato late blight, gray mold, leaf mold and early blight occurred seriously, 68% metalaxyl · mancozeb (Jinlei) WG + 32.5% azoxystrobin · Difenoconazole (amimizuo) SC or Shigao + Huiyou or nicotinamide (kaize) were used;

4. Carbendazim + sulfur was used to control anthracnose of melon crops;


Virus resistance and increase of crop disease resistance: antiviral agents + foliar nutrients.


5. In order to control more than two kinds of diseases at the same time or to control both diseases and insect pests, the two components of bucket mixture should be applied in full amount. For example, downy mildew and Botrytis cinerea occur simultaneously in open field tomato. According to the recommended concentration, 600 times solution of 68.75% flupiride and 1 500 times of 25% nicotinamide water dispersible granule can be mixed for use. When the two fungicides are mixed to control a disease, the concentration of the endosorbent can be lower than the recommended concentration, and the protective agent should be the recommended concentration to delay the occurrence of the resistance of the target bacteria to the endophyte. For example, when 80% mancozeb (Dasheng) WP is mixed with 25% azoxystrobin (amicida) SC, the dilution concentration of the two drugs can be 500 times and 2000 times respectively (the recommended concentration of amicida is 1 500 times).
