What should I pay attention to when growing vegetables in a greenhouse?

  Greenhouse vegetable planting technology allows us to eat anti-season vegetables in winter, and through the use of greenhouse technology, it can also speed up the growth of vegetables and reduce pests and diseases.     First: the ventilation should be stopped in stages

   (1) On a sunny day, ventilation should be carried out 1 hour after uncovering the straw mat. When ventilating, open small openings first, and gradually increase the vents as the temperature in the shed rises to facilitate the entry of carbon dioxide outside the shed into the shed and promote the photosynthesis of vegetables. Do not close the vents all at once in the afternoon, but gradually close the vents. You can close the vent halfway first, and then close the vent completely after 30 minutes. You can also close the vent first, and then open the vent to cool down for 10-15 minutes. Repeat this twice. When the temperature in the shed stabilizes at about 15°C, the vent can be completely closed.

    (2) If it encounters continuous cloudy days and the outside temperature is low, the greenhouse should be mainly insulated, but it must not be ventilated. If there is no ventilation and the shed gets too wet, it will provide conditions for the infection and spread of the disease.

    (3) Ventilation should be stopped from 12 noon to 2 pm, and the vent can be opened to a width of 10 cm. Each time the ventilation is 10-15 minutes, and the ventilation should be once every 20-30 minutes. The continuous ventilation is 2-3 times. Can play a good role in dehumidification.

    Second: Enhancement is necessary

    After entering the winter, lack of light has become an important reason for the improvement of vegetable production. Most vegetable farmers know that setting up a reflective screen in the shed is conducive to the growth of vegetables. However, some vegetable farmers hang the reflective curtain too low, and the vegetable plants will easily block the light, resulting in poor use of the reflective curtain. When hanging the reflective curtain, the reflective curtain with a width of 1-1.2 meters should be hung in the center of the back wall with a height of 1.7 meters. Do not hang reflective curtains on the entire back wall of the shed to prevent the heat storage of the back wall from being reduced. For vegetables such as cucumbers and loofahs that require strong light, a special fill light can be installed in the shed to fill the light for 2-3 hours to extend the light time of the vegetables, so as to promote the accumulation of vegetable organic matter and increase the yield.

    Third: temperature display

   Controlling humidity is one of the key points of vegetable management in greenhouses in winter. Nowadays, many vegetable farmers know that the humidity in the shed is relatively suitable at 70%-80%. However, because there are no hygrometers in many sheds, vegetable farmers cannot accurately grasp the humidity in the sheds, leading to frequent diseases. Therefore, a hygrometer should be hung in the shed, which is especially important for novice vegetable growers. When the shed is too wet, the vegetable grower can not only ventilate and reduce humidity, but also spray plant ash into the air to reduce humidity.
