In summer, the temperature in the vegetable greenhouse is also very high. The high temperature environment has a certain hindering effect on the growth of greenhouse vegetables, such as affecting the progress of photosynthesis and inducing various bacterial diseases. At present, we should focus on the greenhouse ventilation, management after watering, and the supply of vegetable nutrition to ensure the healthy growth of greenhouse vegetables in a high temperature environment.

Reasonable ventilation to ensure smooth "breathing" of the greenhouse

Step by step. When the shed is closed for 1 hour or when the shed temperature reaches about 20 ℃, a small wind should be released first, and the width of the tuyere is generally about 5 cm to strengthen the photosynthesis of crops and discharge moisture or harmful gases. When the shed temperature rises to the upper limit of the high temperature required by the crops, let the wind once more to gradually reduce the temperature to the range suitable for vegetable growth.

Differences vent. When there is no wind or a slight northeasterly wind (or southeasterly wind), the temperature at the western end of the shed is generally 2°C to 3°C higher than that in the eastern half. When there is northwesterly or southwesterly wind, the temperature difference between the east and west ends will be above 3°C, and the stronger the wind, the greater the temperature difference. In view of the above situations, the ventilation should be managed in sections.

The thermometer setting should be reasonable. Vegetable farmers release air mainly according to the temperature read on the thermometer, and its accuracy is directly related to whether the vegetables are in an environment suitable for growth.

Post-water management to prevent bacterial diseases from taking the opportunity to breed

Drain in time after watering. After watering, the humidity in the shed increases sharply, so it is necessary to dehumidify in time. In the afternoon of the day of watering, close the air vents late, and open the air vents early the next morning to increase ventilation. This operation continues for 2 to 3 days to quickly reduce the humidity in the shed and reduce the occurrence of diseases.

Seize the moment with pruning. Wherever the branches are pruned, whether the ends of the branches are cracked, or excessive manipulation will cause the stem epidermis to fall off in a large area. We hereby remind vegetable farmers to choose sunny days for pruning and fork, but try to avoid 1 to 2 days after watering, because the plant has a large water content at this time, and pruning and fork will increase the probability of disease infection.

Supplemental nutrition to meet the needs of vegetable growth

Raise the roots and protect the leaves to ensure the absorption capacity of vegetables. To raise roots, we must first ensure a good soil living environment. In practice, we can reasonably fertilize according to the needs of different varieties and different growth stages, and change the mulch film to the ground and lay it as an arch cover to increase soil permeability. For vegetables in the middle and late stages of growth, the old, weak and sick leaves should be removed in a reasonable and orderly manner to reduce the infection of pathogenic bacteria.

Spray up and down to fully replenish fertilizer. For the vegetables that have entered the fruiting period, nutrients should be reasonably supplemented according to their demand laws, and fertilization should be combined with upper spray and lower flush. For melons and vegetables, mainly balanced fertilizers are used, and the demand for potassium in the flowering and fruiting period increases, and high-potassium fertilizers can be used interspersed. When the medium and trace elements are deficient, it is recommended to quickly supplement by foliar spraying.
