When building a new shed, you must avoid these 6 major misunderstandings! Otherwise, the loss is too great!

In recent years, more and more people have joined the ranks of growing vegetables in greenhouses. Don't underestimate the construction of a greenhouse. In fact, this is a highly technical work. If the preliminary preparations are not in place, and various problems are discovered after the greenhouse is completed, then the trouble will be big.

There are two main reasons for the deep excavation in the shed.

1. Some vegetable farmers believe that the deeper the dig, the more heat preservation, and the more conducive to the growth of vegetables, so that the emergence of "kiln-type" vegetable greenhouses is unreasonable.

2. In order to save labor and time, the shed builders directly dig soil from the shed in the process of building the walls, but the soil in front of the shed is not used, which increases the height of the surface inside and in front of the shed.

In addition, if the vegetable greenhouse is dug too deep, it is not suitable for some areas where the groundwater level is too shallow, which will lead to the common phenomenon of dead cucumbers, resulting in huge economic losses.

So, how to plan and construct a shed suitable for the production of off-season and warm vegetables?

In the process of building this type of shed, it must be emphasized that the soil used for the wall should also be excavated from the ground in front of the shed. The depth of the excavation depends on the situation, generally more than 0.5 meters. The construction of the shed in this way can make the front face of the shed less than 0.6 meters deep, reduce the area of the shade zone, and at the same time improve the thermal insulation performance of the shed.

Building a shed should always be tailored to local conditions. For example, for some areas with shallow cultivating layer and low groundwater level, it is necessary to avoid the construction of "semi-underground" vegetable greenhouses, and "cellar-type" greenhouses cannot appear. The depth of digging should be minimized or sheds should be built directly on the surface.

So, how to build a vegetable greenhouse wall is more in line with vegetable production?

After the wall of the vegetable greenhouse is stacked, the excavator can be used to "cut the wall" in the shed, so that the wall is trapezoidal, and the distance between the upper part and the lower part of the wall is about 0.5 meters. As for the east and west walls, in order to improve the lighting conditions in the shed, in addition to the location of the vegetable greenhouse should be 5°-10° west of the north, the soil can also be divided east or west during stacking, so that the east wall or the west wall is inclined to the west respectively. 10° outside. In addition, in order to improve the heat preservation of vegetable greenhouses and use the rain and snow to flow water, the outside of the wall should also be left with a slope.

When building a vegetable greenhouse, how to plan its height and width?

In theory, the height of vegetable greenhouses and its north-south span should be determined according to the local latitude. First of all, it must be clear that the height and span of the vegetable greenhouse determine the angle of the lighting surface of the greenhouse, and the angle of the lighting surface of the greenhouse restricts the incident angle of sunlight.

Second, measurements have shown that the transmittance of sunlight is closely related to the angle of incidence of the light. The angle of the lighting surface of the shed is restricted by the local sun elevation angle.

Finally, the east-west line can be extended as the reference line of the north side of the rear wall of the greenhouse. Practice has proved that the azimuth angle of due south or south west is 5°, and the sunlight is perpendicular to the front shed at noon every day. In winter, the greenhouse has the longest illumination time and the most heat storage, which is conducive to the growth of vegetables.
