The process of soil improvement

1. Soil preservation stage:

If the soil loss cannot be controlled, soil improvement cannot be carried out. For cultivating soil, first of all, the basic construction of farmland should be carried out.

2. Land improvement stage:

The purpose of soil improvement stage is to increase soil organic matter and nutrient content, improve soil properties, and improve soil fertility.

Note: One of the purposes of increasing organic matter in soil is to cultivate and increase the content of beneficial microorganisms in soil. Beneficial microorganisms can increase soil permeability, loosen soil, and reduce the solidification of phosphorus in soil.

3. Regular soil disinfection

2. High temperature method. In the high temperature season, the shed is stuffy after irrigation, and the method of heating the soil with steam can also be used to kill insects and sterilize.

4. Improve soil texture

1. After the vegetables are harvested, plough the soil deeply to mix the surface layer with the deep soil layer.

2. Appropriately add decomposed organic fertilizer to increase the content of soil organic matter.

3. For the soil with too high salt content or too low pH value of the topsoil, it can be replaced by fertile soil.

4. If the economic and technical conditions permit, soilless cultivation can be carried out.
