What factors should we pay attention to in the location of solar greenhouse

 Vegetable greenhouse is a fixed facility with high investment cost and long service life. Once it is built in a poor location, it will certainly affect the vegetable production in the shed in the future, thus reducing the planting efficiency. Therefore, the location of the shed before construction is particularly important.

First: Choose the venue.

There are three principles for the selection of vegetable greenhouses:

1. Choose good lighting conditions. It is appropriate to build the shed in front of the greenhouse, east and west sides without tall buildings, factories and mines without more smoke, trees, mountains and other plots, so as not to cause shade and affect the growth of vegetables.

2. Avoid too sticky, too acid, too alkali (soil PH between 6.5 and 7.5 suitable for tomato, cucumber and other vegetables growth, if the soil acid or alkali is not too big, can be mediated by the use of lime or vinegar residue), and emphasize that the soil layer should not be too shallow, at least in more than 40 cm.

3. Low-lying plots close to lakes and rivers should not be chosen as the site for building sheds. Due to its high groundwater level and excessive humidity in sheds during flood season, vegetables are prone to waterlogging damage. In winter, the ground temperature in the shed is too low, the root growth of vegetables is affected, and the disease increases. If the greenhouses have been built in the plots with high water level, drainage ditches can be dug around the shed, and high ridge planting can be adopted in the shed. When watering, drip irrigation or single-plant hole watering with tools are prohibited.

Second: azimuth. After selecting the site, use the compass to set the north-south line, and then pull a north-south line with a length of 3 meters, from the south of the north-south line oblique to the northwest, and then from the north end of the north-south line to the west to pull a length of 4 meters straight line, which is to coincide with the front end of the diagonal line of 5 meters, that is, determine the right Angle (90°), and finally extend the east-west line as the base line north of the back wall of the greenhouse. Practice has proved that the adoption of due south or south by west 5° azimuth Angle, every noon sun light and the front shed vertical, winter greenhouse light time is the longest, the most heat storage, conducive to vegetable growth.
